Pinch Wheels are operated with the Media Lever and are designed to
keep media level to stop creasing or inaccurate printing.

There are multiple troubleshooting guides that relate to Paper Pathing, most of them resolved by releasing the pinch wheels and clearing an obstruction.

'If a shutdown happens at the end of a Roll of Media,
it could be because the media is stuck firmly to the Roll.
Lift the Pinch wheels (using the Media Load Handles) and pull the media clear.'
